One of the most unique lizards by far, the Cyan Lizards are also known as “Leap Lizards”, on account of their ability to propel themselves through the air at very high speeds. This is done by expelling methane gas through the large pores in their tails, causing an explosive backwards force that propels the lizard forward. This gas is produced by an abundance of methanobacteria present in their gut flora, which displaces the gas throughout their body after production.* Their tails, the inside of their mouth, their toungue, and rings on their body all glow a bright cyan and passively emit this gas, implying it exists throughout their entire body and not just their tail. As for their proficiency with this ability, they are prone to launching themselves into danger or fatal falls, implying of this trait not being a natural evolution, but instead an artificial trait created by an Iterator. While they can have the same frills a normal lizard can, Cyan Lizards also frequently have long, black lateral frills perpendicular to their body. They also have a tounge slightly longer than a Blue Lizard's, but otherwise have features similar or identical to a Blue Lizard.
